Integrations
Integrations
Section titled “Integrations”Mediyn’s Integrations feature allows practices to connect external EHR and FHIR systems directly from the Settings page. Connection status, sync activity, and health signals are all surfaced in one place, giving clinicians a reliable view of how their integrations are performing. Integration connectivity features are available to practices on the Clinic plan.
Connecting EHR and FHIR Systems
Section titled “Connecting EHR and FHIR Systems”- The Integrations page in Settings supports connecting EHR and FHIR systems through a Connect dialog that submits directly to the backend.
- Once connected, each integration displays a real-time health indicator showing its current connection status.
- Practices on plans that do not include integrations see a clear upgrade prompt when accessing this area, rather than a generic error message.
Syncing and Sync History
Section titled “Syncing and Sync History”- The Sync Now button on the Integrations settings page triggers a sync that completes successfully and updates the sync-run history automatically — no page refresh is required.
- Sync history is pulled live from the API, so the view always reflects the most recent activity.
Integration Health Monitoring
Section titled “Integration Health Monitoring”- Each configured integration reports an accurate, real-time health status, including FHIR server connections.
- Status values of
degradedorfailedare returned when connectivity issues are detected, providing reliable signals about integration availability. - Requesting health information for an integration that does not exist returns a
404error rather than a misleading healthy response.
